Impact aid to effect elementary students

During the 2014-2015 school year, full-time working parents of next year’s prekindergarten students in the Copperas Cove Independent School District will have to find other daycare options for their children who attend the prekindergarten program. As a result of nearly $6 million cut to CCISD’s Heavy Impact Aid funding, the district is reorganizing its prekindergarten program. The district is making changes, particularly at the elementary school level.
