Stevens hired as Senior Director of Business Retention and Expansion at CCEDC

The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation announce the hiring of its new Senior Director of Business Retention and Expansion, Sean Stevens.

According to the press release, Stevens is a seasoned economic development professional with an impressive 16-year career dedicated to fostering growth within the States of Wyoming and Oregon.

His niche is in business attraction and recruitment and has a track record of landing high-impact projects for the communities he serves.

He holds a degree from the University of Wyoming. While further enhancing his expertise, he has successfully completed the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and holds an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certificate from the National Development Council.

Currently, he is pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics from Grand Canyon University, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and his drive to leverage strategies for future growth initiatives.

Stevens shares his life with his beloved wife and son, and also has two college-age children. He is an avid sports enthusiast, an active participant in his church community, and enjoys outdoor activities.

Stevens is dedicated to economic progress, education, and the pursuit of a well-rounded life.

In his new role at the CCEDC, Sean will be working with the Copperas Cove EDC team and our business allies across the region to expand the business retention and expansion efforts in Copperas Cove. This includes accessing technical and professional programs at the state and federal level to assist in the growth of the business base in Copperas Cove. Sean's background in project development and data analytics will be a great asset for the city and the EDC team.

The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation will host a Meet & Greet on Friday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the EDC Office, (207 S. 3rd St. Suite 200. City officials, local business owners, and the community are invited to attend and meet him. Light refreshments will be provided.
