Swimmers jump in for annual Polar Bear Swim

Although the forecast for Saturday promised spring-like temperatures, the water still had a bite during Saturday’s 16th annual Polar Bear Swim at City Park pool.
Registrants lined up that morning, enjoying the mid 50s temperatures in the air, but knowing the water yards away from them was likely colder than that.
Those who signed up could take a dip in the pool, with a few of those participants joining in on a costume contest, treading water contest and a belly flop contest.
