Nadine G. Hall Edwards Scarlett, age 82, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Viss Family Funeral Home (formally Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove), 1614 S. FM 116, Copperas Cove, Texas.

Nadine journey began on September 17, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George and Anna Kobelak Hall. She married the late Grant Thomas Edwards in 1959. Growing up in Ohio, she was always a Cleveland Indian fan. However, after moving to Texas in 1978, she ditched the Indians and became a true-blue Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan. For this reason, anyone attending the service is invited to wear a Rangers or Cowboys shirt. She retired from the Gatesville Independent School District in 2015 where she enjoyed working in the cafeteria.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her only sister, Claudia Nix.

Nadine is survived by her seven children, Diane, Sue, Jeff, Earl, Kathy, Kevin and Ron; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
