Floyd Raymond Camp III, affectionately known as “Brock,” transitioned from this world on September 29, 2023, leaving behind a profound legacy of creativity, love, and cherished memories.

Born on December 3,1982, in Stuttgart, Germany, to parents Rocky and Leslie Camp, Brock’s life journey unfolded in Copperas Cove, Texas, where he received his education and built a life filled with love alongside his devoted wife, Heidi, and their beloved children.

He bore the proud namesake of Floyd Raymond Camp, the first, a testament to his deep-rooted family connections and heritage.

Brock was a multifaceted creative force whose talents knew no bounds. As a photographer, videographer, DJ, and lyricist, he painted the canvas of life with vibrant colors, introducing countless individuals to the sheer magic of his artistry. His musical compositions and mixes carried the power to touch the very soul, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience them. Brock’s passion for music was a reflection of his vibrant spirit, and he generously shared this gift with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

However, beyond his artistic achievements, Brock’s greatest masterpiece was undoubtedly his loving family. As a husband and father, he stood as an unwavering pillar of support and affection, cherishing each moment spent with his beloved wife and children. His devotion to his family knew no bounds, and the love he held for them was boundless and unconditional.

Brock’s presence illuminated the lives of his friends and extended family. He was a cherished husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who possessed the remarkable ability to infuse warmth and laughter into family gatherings. His genuine kindness, caring nature, and infectious laughter left an enduring imprint on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

To Brock, the word “Ohana” held profound significance. It encapsulated his deeply-held belief in the paramount importance of family and the enduring bonds of friendship. He reminded us all that, in his eyes, we were part of a larger family, and he treated us as such—with love, respect, and unwavering support.

In accordance with his wishes, a memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, Texas, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects and celebrate Brock’s life.

Brock is survived by his beloved wife, Heidi Camp, and children: Floyd, Kiarra, Izzy, and Lily. He is also survived by his parents, Rocky and Leslie Camp, his brothers, James and Braydon Camp, and his beloved sister, Tobi Camp, whom lovingly referred to Brock as “Bubba”.

In addition, he leaves behind a rich tapestry of family, including his Grandmothers, Barbara Gividen and Barbara Ghormley, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.

Brock is preceded in death by his precious son, Aidan, who now rests in eternal peace. He is also reunited in the afterlife with his Grandfathers, Floyd Raymond Camp and Lloyd Bay.

Brock’s legacy is a testament to the profound impact one individual can have on the world. “Ohana” was not merely a word to Brock; it was his way of life.

May his spirit and the love he shared with us continue to resonate in our hearts, forever reminding us of the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
