Registration open for Lemonade Day Build-a-Stand workshop

Registration opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 for the annual Build-a-Stand workshop for young entrepreneurs participating in this year’s Lemonade Day.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, April 6, from 2-4 p.m. at Heights Lumber and Supply, located at 602 W. F.M. 2410. The store is providing supplies for 20 lemonade stands. 

As this is for new participants to build a stand, the Lemonade Day leadership is asking that no youth entrepreneurs from last year’s Build-a-Stand event register for this year’s event. It is one spot, one family per stand, and up to four youth participants per group. 

Participants must have transportation the day of the event to take the stand home, as it will be a full wooden stand. Storage is not available for completed stands.

There will be no walk-ins on the day of the event.
