Coryell County grand jury indicts Copperas Cove man for January hit-and-run

A Copperas Cove man has been indicted for accident causing death by a Coryell County grand jury.

Lance Tyler Anderson, 32, had been arrested in January in connection with the death of William Devauri Ames, who was a pedestrian struck by a white SUV in the 600 block of Urbantke Lane, during the early morning hours of January 14. Anderson was later identified as the driver of that vehicle after leaving the scene. At the time, Anderson admitted to striking something on Urbantke Lane, but insisted that he didn’t know it was a person. 

A Coryell County grand jury has also indicted 47 other individuals during the month of May 2020, to include: 

Eric Lamonte Armand, 30, Copperas Cove, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, greater than or equal to 1 gram but less than 4 grams.

Richard Tucker Beavers, 30, Copperas Cove, Injury to Child/Elderly/Disable with intent of severe bodily injury/mental; Injury to Child/Elderly/Disabled with intine of bodily injury, 2 counts. 

Markevious Rayshun Myers, Copperas Cove, burglary of a habitation

Joseph Anthony Maultsby, 58, Copperas Cove, sexual abuse of child continuous: victim under 14, indecency with a child – exposure. 

Edith Louise Tratt, 48, Copperas Cove, Tamper/Fabricate Physical evidence with intenet to impair. 

Terrance Damon Young, 37, Killeen, bail jumping and failure to appear – felony.

Daniel Brandon Mersiovsky, 39, Temple, theft of property, greater than or equal to $2,500 but less than $30,000

Brandon Dale Trotter, 38, Gatesville, theft of property greater than or equal to $30,000 but less than $150,000

Craig Ryan Davis, 30, Shepherd, aggravated kidnapping

Brian Anthony Mezzacappa, 30, Lampasas, possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, greater than or equal to 4 grams but less than 200 grams

Brandon Marcus Turner, 35, possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, less than 1 gram. 

Michael Anthony Wallace, 36, Copperas Cove, theft of property less than $2,500 with 2 or more previous convictions. 

Kevin Lamar Edwards, 29, Copperas Cove, burglary of habitation; possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1 less than 1 gram.

Justin Earl Kepler, 32, Lampasas, online solicitation of a minor - sexual conduct

Jesse Franlin Quidachay, 38, Copperas Cove, online solicitation of a minor - sexual conduct

Matthew Forrest Jarrett, 32, College Station, bail jumping and failure to appear - felony

Johnny Ray Cupp, 34, terroristic threat against peace officer/judge; aggravated assault against a public servant; resisting arrest, search or transport with deadly weapon

Robert Warner Cross, 47, aggravated kidnapping

Jerry Dewayne Smith, 32, assault of family/household member with previous conviction lat.

Adrian Rodriguez-Bolanos, 22, possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, greter than or equal to 1 gram but less than 4 grams. 

Eddie De La Rosa Rodriguez, 37, Killeen, Burglary Of Habitation, 4 counts; Theft Of a Firearm, 2 counts. 

Richard Glenn Houston, 51, possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, greater than or equal to 1 gram but less than 4 grams.

Patrick Howard Martin, 36, injury to child/elderly/disabled - reckless bodily injury

Gage Anthony Theiler, 26, assault of family/household member with previous conviction LAT

Oscar Javier Aparicio, 41, San Antonio, aggravated sexual assault of a child, 3 counts; indecency with a child - sexual Contact, 2 counts.

Jose Mario Gonzalez, 40, Nolanville, theft of property, less than $2,500, with 2 or more previous convictions. 

Wylon Luke Joy, 39, Kerrville, Tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair; possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, less than 1 gram. 

Elizabeth Marie Villegas, 34, Gatesville, possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, less than 1 gram.

Isaac Figueroa, 30, Round Rock, online solicitation of a minor -sexual conduct

Josef James Dilly, 32, online solicitation of a minor

Victor Manuel Vascot, 46, online solicitation of a minor

Franklin Calvin Jones, 44, unauthorize use of a vehicle

The indictments do not include the indictments where the defendants have not yet been arrested for their charge and have a capias out that has not been served on the defendant.
