Ashley Outlet to open in Copperas Cove, now hiring

The former site of the Bealls Department Store in Copperas Cove's Five Hills Shopping Center has a new occupant – Ashley Outlet.

The signs on the front of the store were changed out approximately two weeks ago, and store owner Sandra Skinner said that the store’s soft opening is set for Friday, Oct. 15, with a grand opening of Saturday, Nov. 6.

Skinner confirmed that the store is now hiring for all positions, sales and office starting now, as well as warehouse positions.

Skinner also owns the Ashley HomeStore Killeen locations, including Ashley HomeStore on Imperial Drive, as well as the Ashley Outlet and Ashley Kids Store, on South W.S. Young Drive.

Stage Stores, the parent company for Bealls, announced back in 2019 that many former Bealls locations would be transformed into Gordmans stores. However, the Copperas Cove location was closed permanently.
