Lady Dawgs improve to no. 7 in TABC state rankings

The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs continue to win with a big road victory over San Angelo Central in a low-scoring affair, 43-36. 
The Lady Dawgs improve to 18-2 and 3-0 in District 8-6A play. The No. 7 (Texas Association of Basketball Coaches) Lady Dawgs will face their second state-ranked team in as many weeks when they host the no. 12 (TABC) Ellison Lady Eagles today at 1:30 p.m. at Bulldawg Gymnasium. 
The Lady Dawgs have won 10-straight games since dropping two games to begin the Marble Falls Tournament – their only two losses of the season. The Lady Dawgs will then enjoy their holiday break before competing in the McDonald’s Holiday Tournament Dec. 27-29 in College Station. 
Cove will resume their district slate with a road contest at Shoemaker on Friday, Jan. 5.
