The Bulldawg football team showed on Friday that the run game is alive and well just a week after showing off a resurgent passing attack.
The Dawgs opened up the season with a 27-14 win over Nuevo Leon of Mexico that featured 23 of 34 passing for 280 yards and three touchdowns while only posting 74 rush yards.
They responded with nearly 400 yards rushing in their second game of the season of Friday against El Paso Franklin while combining for just 103 yards passing from senior quarterback Caine Garner and junior quarterback Jaylen Smith on a near-perfect 13 of 14 passing.
