Cove’s Morrison finishes second at WTJCT championships but first as Player of the Year

By TJ MAXWELL Cove Leader-Press BROWNWOOD – Copperas Cove senior Tyler Morrison continues to burn up the links over the summer break. Her second-place finish in the West Texas Junior Champions Tour (WTJCT) Championships on Friday was enough to cement her place atop the player standings, earning her the 2015 WTJCT Player of the Year title for the girls’ side. “It means a lot because Cove doesn’t really recognize golf,” said Morrison. It builds a lot of confidence to win a lot of tournaments.
