Teddy Kent Bertelsen

Teddy K. Bertelsen, 59, of Copperas Cove passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at home. Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM, Friday at Scott’s Funeral Home with inurnment at 3 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

 

Ted was born on October 8, 1956 in West Covina, CA to Egon and Ada Pugh Bertelsen. After graduating from High School he joined the United States Army and served his country from 1975 to 1979. He graduated from Modesto Junior College with a degree in welding. Ted married Laura Schafer December 18, 1981 in Modesto, CA. He worked for milling and iron fabrication companies in California before retiring to Texas in 2012.

 

Ted was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Bertelsen

 

Ted is survived by his wife, Laura Bertelsen; sons, William Goble and wife, Heather, Charles Goble and wife, Carol, Timothy Goble and wife, Beverly; father, Egon Bertelsen and wife, Karen; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

 

Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements..
