One injured after accidental discharge of gun in Copperas Cove Walmart parking lot

An individual attempting to holster their pistol accidentally shot themselves in the Copperas Cove Walmart Supercenter parking lot on Monday evening, Feb. 5.

According to Lt. Krystal Baker with the Copperas Cove Police Department said that the individual suffered a non-life-threatening, self-inflicted injury. 

“Thankfully, there were no injuries to anyone else, and no property damage,” Lt. Baker said in an email. “As of now, no charges have been filed.”
