Community prepares for tenth annual Jackrabbit Run4hope

For the tenth year, runners will take to the streets in the Ogletree Gap area and run the “big hill” in the annual Jackrabbit Run- 4hope, a fundraiser for Hope Pregnancy Center. Three distances make up the event, a 10K and 5K run, or 5K walk, which takes place on Saturday, May 10 and starts at 8 a.m. “We’ve got a really good turnout for sponsors,” said assistant race director, Alan Waters. “We’ve got ribbons that say 10th anniversary that go on the medals. The tshirts are going to say 10th anniversary, 10th year.
