Silver Sunday for Cove’s Fox and Stutz

AUGUSTA, GA - Copperas Cove seventh-grader Elle Fox was six inches away from claiming a girls’ 12-13 title at the National Drive, Chip and Putt National Championships at the famed Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday.

 

Fox finished just one point behind Kayla Sam of Anaheim Hills, Ca.

 

The two competitors split the first two competitions to have everything come down to a game of inches, literally, in the putting competition.
