Optimist Club Scholarship

James Markert is the winner of the Optimist Club’s South District Scholarship Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In Kerrville on May 7, James received a $2,500 scholarship. He is eligible to compete in the Optimist Club International Competition. James is shown with his mother, Karen, and Sandor Vegh of the Copperas Cove Optimist Club.
