Summer Run to Fun set for Saturday

The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is kicking off the first day of summer on Saturday morning with the annual Summer Run to Fun 5K, starting at 8 a.m. Registrants should meet at South Park, located at 2602 Dennis Dr., where the race will begin. The Summer Run to Fun 5K is a chip timed event which starts at South Park and follows the park’s 1.5-mile walking trail. Then it follows along throughout nearby residential areas via Dennis Drive, Hughes Avenue, Boland Street, Mattie Drive, then back to Dennis and back into South Park.
