Twenty-two of the 24 lanes at Hallmark Lanes in Killeen were taken up by teams having a friendly competition for a cause.
Saturday’s Souper Bowl of Caring was an effort to raise funds and food for My Brother’s House, the food pantry of Holy Family Catholic Church. The two-hour event was coordinated by Senior Ms. Rabbit Fest Edith Natividad as part of her platform during her reign as Rabbit Fest pageant royalty.
The top three teams won Cinergy Cinema movie passes along with a year’s subscription to the Cove Leader-Press.
