After Coryell County sheriff Johnny Burks announced his intention to not run for office in the 2016 election, a total of six candidates filed to run on the Republican party ticket for the spot of head law enforcement officer in the county.
On Thursday night, Copperas Cove residents will have the opportunity to hear from all of them at a forum at the Copperas Cove Public Library, starting at 6:30 p.m. The forum is the last of a series of meetings being hosted by the Coryell County Republican Party.
