Library hosting Bluegrass and Ice Cream with Sieker Band performance

The Copperas Cove Public Library is holding a free concert on Friday, Aug. 20, from 7-9 p.m.
The Sieker Band will be performing in the library’s meeting room.
The Sieker Band has played throughout Germany and Europe and have had appearances on television and radio shows.
Known for their banjo skills, they have recorded five albums, two Nashville and three in Germany.
Rolf and Beate Sieker began their music careers in Berlin, Germany, then moved to Nashville in 1997.
They have called Central Texas home since 2000. In 2008, they were inducted into the Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame.
Waffle Cone will be providing ice cream this evening, with the Friends of the Library accepting donations
Friends of the Library raises funds to support the library’s programs, such as the annual Summer Reading Program.
The Friends also sell donated new and gently used printed books, books on CD, DVDs and more.
