Enactus Club holds car show at CTC

Several dozen car lovers showed off their cars at the second annual Enactus Car and Motorcycle Show held at Central Texas College Saturday.
The car show was a fundraising event to raise money directly for Enactus. Pre-registration cost $20, while registering the day of the event was $30. Vendor slots were $35.
Enactus is an international non-profit organization housed in over 1,700 universities in 37 countries, according to Enactus coordinator and CTC professor, Chastity Clemons. In the U.S., there are 500 universities with an Enactus chapter and only 22 two-year schools, of which CTC is one. CTC’s Enactus placed 5th in the nation, Clemons said. Enactus is devoted to “enabling progress through entrepreneurial action,” according to the CTC Enactus webpage.
