City of Copperas Cove announces Low-Income Household water Assistance program

The City of Copperas Cove Utility Administration Department is pleased to announce that utility customers may now apply for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), administered by Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. 
The purpose of the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) grant is to provide emergency assistance to low-income households, particularly those with the lowest incomes that pay a high proportion of household income for water, storm water, drinking water, wastewater/sewer, and groundwater services collectively named (Water Services).
Residential customers of the City of Copperas Cove Utility Administration may now apply for the program at: http://hccaa.com/water-assistance/
