Summer is around the corner and a local business is gearing up to cool off the Copperas Cove community, served by true ice cream artists. The Waffle Cone, a 1950s style ice cream parlor, is known for their unique artisan sundaes such as the Dawg bowl and the Spaghetti Ice while having more than 20 different ice cream flavors. Owner John Hayes operates the establishment with his daughter, Charlie, and a handful of seasonal employees. Come August, the business will have been in operation for four years.
