Judge Firth addresses Exchangites to discuss voter apathy of county

Commending the one percent for exercising their right to vote, Coryell County Judge John Firth questioned the apathy of the voters of the city for their poor turnout of the recent runoff election as he addressed the Copperas Cove Morning Exchange Club Wednesday. “With more than 19,000 registered voters in the city, Copperas Cove it is a shame we cant have more turnout for election,” the Judge said. “In countries like Iraq it is a badge of honor to be able to display the purple finger to show that they voted.”
