Cove Charter Academy collects food for pantry

A first grade class project focusing on the subject of generosity turned into a schoolwide event at Copperas Cove’s Priority Charter School. “We were studying generosity as a trait and the class started bringing in canned goods as a food drive,” said first grade teacher Rebecca Clark. “Then everyone kind of jumped in and it became a real competition.” Clark said her students began bringing in canned goods and other food products as donations for My Brother’s House, the food pantry operated by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Holy Family Catholic Church.
