COGIC holds final garage sale for donations

Preparing for their anniversary celebration, leaders from the Bountiful New Life Church of God In Christ on Ave. E held their final of three garage sales to raise funds in anticipation of the expansion of the church to include a clothing closet and food pantry. The church will celebrate its fourth anniversary starting Friday with services running through Sunday evening. “Each of the group leaders of our church hosted a garage sale, The Youth, The Singles and finally the church as a whole,” said Yolanda Williams. “We have collected all of the items that were donated and left over from the first two sales for this donations only sale and everything that is left over will be sorted and put in our clothing closet right next door to our church.”
