Youth Volleyball nearing playoffs

The Copperas Cove Youth Volleyball season is heating up with the playoffs just around the corner. The Eclipse (5-1) and Diamond Divas (5-1) are currently embroiled in a battle for the top seed in the 12-under division with an epic battle to claim the top spot set for Saturday 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Copperas Cove Junior High main court. The winner will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs on Nov. 8 and will face the winner of the fourth- and fifthplace teams on Nov. 15. The Divas defeated the Lady Strykers (0-6) and Lady Spikers (1-4) to win their fifth-straight. The Eclipse also went 2-0 on the day with wins over the Lady Blue Jays (3-2) and Lady Strykers for their fourth-straight win. The Lady Blue Jays downed the Lady Strykers in the final match of the night.
