Opening the District 8-5A portion of the soccer schedule, Copperas Cove played Harker Heights with the Knights claiming a 4-0 victory over the Dawgs in Cove while the Lady Dawgs played to a 1-0 double overtime loss to the Lady Knights. “Heights pulled away in the second half with three quick goals,” Dawgs head coach Greg Porter said.
