Grow the Sport

Getting kids out of the house and on to a field of competition is half of the battle and the other half of that equation is building a love for the sport so that children can grow and excel in their respective sports.

 

Although a little disappointed with the numbers, Copperas Cove head girls’ basketball coach Eldridge McAdams is pleased with the efforts of those that did attend his annual basketball camp.

 

“It wasn’t bad,” he said of the participation. “We had somewhat of a good turnout but we were definitely pleased that the kids worked hard and got after it.”
