Dawgs just miss out on bi-district series win by a matter of inches

Tied at one game apiece, it came down to mere inches in deciding which team would move on to the Area Round of the 2016 UIL State Baseball Playoffs to face Mesquite when the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs hosted the Naaman Forest Rangers in game three of their best-ofthree series Saturday at Bulldawg Field.
Friday night belonged to the Rangers as they fended off the Dawgs for a 5-1 win on their home turf.
The Dawgs returned the favor early Saturday afternoon with a 10-1 victory that set up the deciding game three.
