Despite not getting the storybook ending both teams would have loved to create, the Copperas Cove baseball and softball teams can hold their heads high after notching historically strong seasons this year. The baseball team went 13-11- 1 over, their first winning season in a long-time, and were 6-8 in the competive District 8-5A where Belton, Midway and Harker Heights combined for 35 wins and seven losses.
