Dawgs survive early Panther pounce

Sharpshooter Xavier Armstead and the Midway defense wanted to put Copperas Cove in a 0-2 hole in District 12-6A play, but senior Jordan Woodberry and junior Devante Robinson would have none of it. Woodberry hit five of eight three-pointers in the first half and Devante Robinson hit 17-for-19 free throws in the fourth quarter to give the Dawgs their first district win Tuesday night at Bulldawg Gymnasium.
