An upset is loosely defined as an underdog overcoming overwhelming odds to defeat a superior opponent. Given that, what the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs pulled off last Friday night in Harker Heights was about as big an upset that has been seen in District 12-6A. The Knights were ranked 7th in the state going into the game, however they were ranked as high as 4th just the week before but a loss to rival Ellison caused Heights to drop in the rankings – which should have made them all the more formidable.
