Cove pounds Stony Point 3-0

Savannah Cook has been waiting for her time to shine and lead her Lady Dawgs to victory. She did just that on Tuesday at Round Rock Stony Point as the Lady Dawgs pounded the Tigers 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-17) to improve to 11-1 on the season. The senior outside hitter had a team-high 11 kills of her 13 successful attacks and did not commit a single hitting error. She also recorded four solo blocks, had three assists and deflected two others. “I felt really alive this game,” said Cook. “This is probably my best game I’ve played this year.” Copperas Cove head coach Cari Lowery likes what she saw from her senior as well.
