Brelan Chancellor, a former running back for the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs turned star returner and slot receiver for the University of North Texas, was picked up by the San Diego Chargers as an unrestricted free agent on the final day of the NFL draft. The Chargers picked up Chancellor to be a returner and play receiver in the slot position As a running back at Copperas Cove, Chancellor scored 12 touchdowns and led the team with 7.6 yards per carry and was named to the 12-5A All-District team in 2008.
