Cove bests Australia’s Horizon Crocs 85-24

The Ballin’ Bulldawgs basketball team got some valuable experience both on and off the court on Monday night as they hosted the Horizon Crocs from the Syndey, Australia area in an 85-24 blowout. The teams interacted prior to the game and that carried over to a photography shoot after the game that more closely resembled a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition rather than a high school basketball contest. “It was a great experience for our guys to come out here and play against a team from another country,” said Copperas Cove head coach Billy White Jr. “They got to interact with them before the game and then a little bit after the game as well.” The contest allowed coach White to get some muchneeded production from his bench players with District 12- 6A action rapidly approaching.
