Cove Leader-Press The Bulldawgs were chomping at the bit to get a second chance at the Eagles after suffering a tough 7-6 loss at Ellison in their firstround matchup. After Mother Nature made them wait another 16 hours, the Bulldawgs didn’t waste in more time in determining the outcome on Saturday afternoon. It took just five innings for them to avenge the loss. The Dawgs (13-8, 5-4 in District 12-6A) pounded home four runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth on their way to a 12-2 run rule of the Eagles.
