Michael W. Brackett, Sr.

Michael W. Brackett, age 55, of Kempner passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. A Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.

 

Michael was born on June 11, 1960 to the late Thomas and Patricia Watkins Brackett. On December 22, 1979 he married Lana Hyman at the First Baptist Church in Kempner. He was a lifelong electrician.

 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers.

 

Michael is survived by his wife, Lana Brackett; children, Cheryl Brackett, Stephanie Tucker and husband, John Gilcrease, III, Michael W. Brackett, Jr. and wife, Sherri, Nicholas Brackett and wife, Elizabeth; and his six grandchildren, Haley, Hunter, John IV, Dominick, Samantha, and Juliet. Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of agreements.
