Gurland Jackson “Jack” Jordan, Jr., 59, of May, Texas, lost his fight with cancer at 1:15 p.m. on Friday February 19, 2021. Funeral Services will be held Friday February 26, 2021 at Brownwood Funeral Home at 1 p.m. located at 2512 Belle Plain. Viewing will be held at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. also at Brownwood Funeral Home. Jack was born on Aug. 19, 1961 in Moultrie, Georgia to Helen Marie and Gurland Jack Jordan. Jack moved to Texas in 2004 to start a new life with Laura, ultimately opening a gunsmithing shop in Kaufman, Texas, then on to Kempner and finally to their forever home in May, Texas.  He was a good man who was dearly loved, and his passing leaves this world a little emptier. He is survived by his wife, Laura, his children Kayla and Tyler Jordan, and step-daughter Shana Cole, as well as his father Gurland Jordan, sister, Marie Youngblood and brothers Matt and Michael Jordan.
