Rob Harlow, age 58, of Kempner, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Boerne, TX. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home, 1614 S. FM 116 in Copperas Cove.
Rob was born in Puerto Rico to William and Betty White Harlow on September 7, 1963. He was raised in Hotchkiss, Colorado, and graduated from Hotchkiss High School in 1982. He enjoyed playing football and rodeoing in his younger years. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served for 10 years. For the next 18 years, he worked for Northrop Grumman and traveled all over the world working with computer systems in vehicles. The last five years, he worked for SUNDT as a heavy wheel mechanic. Rob loved operating the big machinery and had a passion for his work. On February 11, 2012, he married Deana Durante in Copperas Cove. When Rob wasn’t working, he enjoyed being a member of the Moose Lodge in Copperas Cove, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tonya Harlow, and his stepmother, Dovie Harlow-Story.
Rob is survived by his wife, Deana Harlow; children, Mabel Alcantar, Sayli Alcantar, Mikayla Swanson; sister, Bobbie Boyle; numerous nieces and nephews and six grandchildren.
