Irvin A. Deorsam, 93, of Copperas Cove passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  He was born September 26, 1925 in Coryell County to Willie and Mary Deorsam.  Irvin was a native of Copperas Cove and a member of a pioneer family of the area.  He graduated from Copperas Cove High School and lived his entire life in the Cove community.   He married Berniece Edwards, of Killeen, on June 14, 1952. 
Irvin began his banking career in 1948 as a bookkeeper.  He continued in the banking industry, in various capacities, with several different banks in the area until he retired in 1985. 
 Irvin loved being in the outdoors, especially hunting, farming and working his cattle.  He was an accomplished domino player who relished in the competition and took pleasure in the fellowship of friends.  Outgoing and always friendly, the man truly never met a stranger.  
 Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother.  Left to cherish his memories are:  daughter, Phyllis Kendrick, and husband, Ronnie, of Abilene;  daughter, Randa Glenn, and husband, Tommy, of Fulshear;  granddaughter, Kristyn McFarland, and husband, Tyler, of Fulshear;  and two great grandsons, Trent and Trevor McFarland. 
 Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6 - 8 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove.  Funeral Service will be 10 am Saturday, August 3, 2019 with Burial to follow at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
