Lady Dawgs rebound with sweep of Lady Roos

Fresh off probably their worst loss of the season in a sweep last Friday against Midway, the Lady Dawgs showed no signs of wilting as they pounded the Killeen Lady Roos 3-0 (25-14, 25-7, 25-10) to improve their playoff seeding and move to 33- 10, 8-2 on the season. “We just played bad (at Midway),” added Lowery. “We let them get in our heads. We had a few bad calls that we let get in our heads.” Savannah Cook, one of seven seniors on the squad, knows being on top means there are a lot of people trying to knock you off and that you can’t let a loss, no matter how bad, detour you from your goals.
