Lonestar Rangers hope to bounce back Saturday

The Lone Star Rangers semi-professional football game will be taking to the field at Bulldawg Stadium on Saturday night, hoping to come back from a loss.
“This is a must win game for us, since we had that debacle last week in San Antonio against the Titans, it's like every game is a game seven.” Coach Maurice Owens said during the live coach’s show broadcast Thursday evening at Bubba’s 33.
Every Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Bubba’s 33 through the end of May, the Coach’s show will be open to any Lonestar Rangers fans, friends, and family.

“We do these weekly shows to provide energy for our fan energize our fan base,” said Owens, Lonestar Rangers Offensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach. “To bring more utilization and visibility back to the city and put a positive emphasis on our team as a Lonestar Rangers and building a brand in Killeen to let them know that there's a minor professional football team that is here within the city, within the area of Central Texas to forge a great relationship and just build our brand.”
Following last week’s loss, the Rangers are looking to bounce back and know to do that, some things will need to be changed on both sides of the ball.
“You can expect to see a very focused team this weekend, more disciplined on both sides of the ball, and a team having a fun time.” said Coach Owens.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove, with tickets available at the gate, $12 for general admission, $6 for ages 4-11, 3 and under are free. Season passes are $50.
