The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs rebounded from their five-set loss to Midway on Tuesday with 3-0 sweep of Killeen on Friday. Cove senior Lexi Perez and the rest of the Cove defense came out on fire, allowing only three Killeen points in the first set on the way to 25-3 win. Killeen put up a fight in the second set, but could not overcome the Lady Dawgs’ relentless defense and timely offense in a 25-17 loss.
