It’s been many years, but I think I’m finally able to admit that I’m used to a central Texas fall. As in fall, where the leaves seem to die overnight and then just, fall. If you’ve lived here for years, you might be used to it too. If you’ve always lived here, that’s all you know. You can tell it’s fall by the angle of the sunlight. The sun comes up later every morning and sets farther south in the sky each night. The shadows grow longer earlier, even though temperatures might be close to 80 in the afternoons. Buhbye to the triple-digit numbers.
