There are a dozen 4-H clubs in Coryell County, and Copperas Cove students have the opportunity to enroll in one of those clubs this fall. Those familiar with 4-H know it’s typically linked to projects that involve working with animals and agriculture, such as students raising and showing animals like cattle, horses, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats and pigs, but Annie May, Coryell County’s director of 4-H and youth programs, says there are other activities students can choose for projects. “We have food and nutrition, clothing, textiles, shooting sports,” May said. “We’re also working on getting a robotics club started.”
