White House fence jumper known to Covites

A veteran by the name of Omar J. Gonzalez and the city of Copperas Cove gained nationwide attention over the weekend, when Gonzalez was arrested Friday evening for jumping the White House’s security fence, running across the lawn and entering the north side of the executive mansion. However, some Covites encountered Gonzalez— a soldier, a wounded warrior when he came looking for help. When Linda and Willie Goode first heard the news report, they both looked at each other in shock.
