50-year-old James Michael Sims died on Sunday after his motorcycle struck a utility pole on in the 300 block of Summers Road in Copperas Cove.
According to Copperas Cove police, they responded to a call at approximately 6:33 p.m. for a single-vehicle accident and came upon Sims with life-threatening injuries.
“EMS personnel performed life-saving measures but James succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by Coryell County Justice of the Peace F.W. ‘Bill’ Price.”
