Copperas Cove softball player named Co-Offensive Player of the Year for 12-6A

Copperas Cove sophomore third baseman Larisa Perez was named co-offensive player of the year for District 12-6A softball.
The Lady Dawg joins 21 other players from the eight district teams for the First Team.
Fellow First Team members for the district include Belton’s senior centerfielder McKenzie Drake, juniors Kaylee Rodriguez, shortstop, and Kaylee Jordan, pitcher/first baseman.
Perez shares the co-offensive title with Temple’s junior shortstop Lily Wiser. The co-newcomers of the year are Temple’s freshman pitcher Maddison Ruiz and Ellison junior third baseman Elayna Goff.
This year, the Lady Dawgs finished the season with 15-16-1 record.
