Texas Angel Tattoos faces closure after break-in, equipment stolen.

When Rocky Hughes returned to work Labor Day morning to wax the floors of Texas Angel Tattoos, he never expected to find everything he had worked for the last 14 years taken away from him. Sometime during the overnight hours a former employee made entry through the rear of the building, making away with a laptop and more than $3,400 worth of tattooing equipment that included more than 100 different colors of ink. “When I noticed the computer was missing it hadn’t registered that the shop was broken into,” said Hughes. “I walked to the back of the shop to turn the lights on and saw that the door was open and immediately went to my section where I have all my equipment and noticed that my power supplies, foot pedals, cords and every needle that I had was gone. Everything I needed to do a tattoo was gone."
